Once upon a time, a baby girl was born into a grey-blue thing called Biarritz. She knew it because of the smells floating in the air. Smells of water, she guessed. Then she discovered her home. This home smelled like a horse, a dog, and trees.
She lived two beautiful days with that brown haired woman who smelled something powerful called “mum”. But her leg made “ouch” when her clothes were changed, so she came back to that horrible white place...
Something called “doctor” fixed the leg, and then it was worse. The mum-woman was very important for the baby, but she was not there all the time. There was also another important thing called “dad”, but it had a different smell than “mum”. So the baby decided to smile and smile and smile. (The face goes through the ears) That new face changed all the women-in-white into a “blublublubuuubibibi ohhoooohh” sound. It was so funny that the baby laughed, and the more she laughed, the more “blublu” she received.
Then she opened her eyes as a baby-child. It was an unfinished child, just a sketch, because she was not ready to walk correctly. So she jumped into painful things called “chair” and “table”. She realized that some sounds falled from her mouth and from her throat, and she tried to use that new instrument that was her body, but she could'nt control it …
One day, mum took her, and they discovered a new home, with new colors, new smells and no dad. She looked under the bed, but he was not there. Little by little, she discovered that he still existed, but in a different place than her, and she didn't know why. So she accepted that knew space for mum and her.
Then there was a new, and enormous change in her life called Madrid. Another person entered in this strange thing called “family”. Denis always maked her laugh and he was gentle. So she accepted him.
Suddenly, she was six. And she had learned a lot of things, but the best of all was to talk. Now she could talk in french and in spanish, but spanish was still difficult. Her favorite phrases always began with “Why”, but not always get an answer. Her second favorite thing was to draw lovers, dogs , horses and fairytales. Like every child, she thougt she was the center of the universe. But mum and dad were divorced. Now she could understand the meaning of that word.
She knew that there was another man in their lives, her step-father, but she was sure that her mum could have enough place for all of them. So she had a plan, and tried to find a room in the house for her father. She talked to her mum, and employed the perfect arguments. But mum just laughed and said no. She would have to prepare new plans to unite them again.
And the years passed thrue her eyes, there was a new separation beetween her step-father and her mum, when she was ten. So they went to live in the center of the city.
At that moment, she already knew that she would never be a scientist, a chemist, even less a mathematician. The words and the draw began to passionate her. Her draw teacher had a big influence on her, and she started to really appreciate museums whithout §§§ her feets on the floor and making a fish face. Sometimes it still happens, but that is another story... At sixteen, teachers asked them for an idea of their future orientation, and she had no hesitation to say art. It was crystall clear for her. She discovered theatre, and inscribed herself to the classes, avoiding the fact that the teacher was a crazy red-haired woman, who screamed like a siren in the dark. Her best “souvenir” was the philosophy class, in wich she passed a year drawing without any reproach from the teacher because he knew it was a lost cause.
Then came the so waited experience of her preparing year for Fine Arts, which were a laugh and draw year, whith a funny group of people. She was accepted in Madrid and Salamanca. What a crazy party that night! And the adventure will probably continue until the end! That is my hope.
